TƏSVİRİ SƏNƏTDƏ "BOZQURD" RƏMZİ VƏ MÜASİR MƏDƏNİYYƏTDƏ ONUN TƏFSİRİ

The presented article deals with the symbol of “Grey wolf”, which is one of the main forms of national symbolism in the system of images in modern times. Rock paintings and the image of “Grey wolf” in sculpture and other types of fine arts, which are considered sacred animal and national symbol in Turkic, Mongolian and Altai mythology, have been studied. As can be seen in the presented examples, it was concluded that the image of “Grey wolf” that we came across until the 20th century was given as a female wolf because it symbolized the origin and creation. But, besides the national content of Turkism, this image appears as a male wolf symbolizing heroism, grandeur and pride in the erected statues and paintings in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and even in America after the 20th century. One of the issues addressed in the article is the use of animation and children’s literature by forces, who try to erase the symbol of “Grey wolf” from the minds of children who are considered the builders of the future of the Turkic people or to revive it as a negative character, and suggestions were made in return
